Very comfortable, modern, historic hotel with apartments and terraces and a magnificent view of the Old Port.

Located on a street near the Old Port, this historic hotel (the very first in Marseille, they say) got a nice facelift with a new decor in 2016. The rooms are bright and some have a magnificent view of the Old Port. The junior suites (duplex) have a balcony. Also two apartments with terrace. At the hotel bar, you can enjoy a cocktail or a good Provence wine. A very nice address to discover Marseille!

This is a fantastic hotel in every respect. The location simply could not be better: view on the Ancient Port, all sights nearby, Metro station in front, ATMs and supermarket around the corner. Service was impeccable. Rooms might be small, but perfectly thought out, and excel in the important aspects (calm, you can get it really dark). Wholeheartedly recommended!

Gorgeous view. Great location. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The only niggle is that for the price of the breakfast 24/25 Euros?, I was disappointed by the quality of the coffee (especially from a French hotel) - weak, watery, it felt like someone was skimping on the amount of coffee used to make savings. Also only one sachet of black tea provided in the hotel room and a Nespresso coffee machine we couldn’t work. So apart from the quality of the hot drinks, a lovely hotel :).
