A delicious local cuisine in a restaurant with terrace and patio, with a friendly bistro atmosphere, in Marseille.
In just a few years, the Longchamp Palace has become the favourite landmark of a certain Marseilles youth, offering a bistro atmosphere, friendly and good-natured. A pleasant meeting place and a lively musical atmosphere. Alas, since spring 2020, the place has been renovated and has lost some of its appeal. The bar is now empty, too brightly lit, and the atmosphere has disappeared. The only positive point: a terrace now, but which also prevents the warmth of the days when everyone stood with their drinks on the pavement. At the back, a small room overlooking a patio, very pleasant in summer when it is too hot on the boulevard. The menu changes every month, alternating between 8 and 10 suggestions. Fresh products well worked, that's the chef's secret. A local and tasty cuisine. The desserts are not lacking in freshness either. At weekends until noon, we have brunches at the Longchamp Palace. Copious and pleasant.

Ambiance très joyeuse, un peu bruyante malgré les systèmes veillant à minimiser le bruit. Peut-être pas pour ceux qui recherchent un repas au calme...
En tout cas, un excellent moment pour nous et on en redemande !
D'abord avec un thé vert et chocolat chaud parfait puis des panisses qu'on a adoré, ce qui m'a permis de faire découvrir à mon amie touriste une spécialité du coin.
Très bon déjeuner avec un tartare de bœuf très bien assaisonné et des frites délicieuses ! De très belles portions qui nous ont comblées.
Puis c'est sans oublier le service parfait, les deux personnes qui se sont occupées de nous étaient très accueillantes, nous ont mis à l'aise et permis de passer un excellent moment
(Surtout avec leur humour et leur répartie qui nous a donné le sourire, promis on finira notre salade la prochaine fois)
