SYNDICAT D'INITIATIVE
Situated at the boundary between Bouches-du-Rhône and Vaucluse (the Durance is a natural border), the village has seduced men for its high situation. The Romans settled there, and in the th century it was the archbishops of Aix who settled their castle, interested in the village's agricultural resources. Apart from ruins, we can visit the parish church of Sainte-Marie of the th century and the th century chapel Sainte-Réparade. But before climbing the Quiho, a 453-metre high rocky promontory overlooks the village and offers a beautiful view over the Durance and the vast vineyards surrounding Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade. The village is very well known for its domains in the heart of the Appellation appellation of Aix. It is particularly nice to discover Le Puy on Sunday, the market day.
