This large building, from the depths of time, rises majestically against the southern slopes of the Alpilles. Since 1489, the tradition of olive oil and wine has been perpetuated here, and today, it is used for receptions. Whether for accommodation or catering, the place is full of elegance and nobility. The staff is not only professional, as one would expect in an establishment of this class, but also attentive, pleasant and caring. The cuisine is of course of high quality, and dining on the terrace is a real pleasure.

Prachtig domein met knappe shop! Heerlijke roséwijnen. Probeer zeker het restaurant uit! Er zijn zelfs muzikale avonden met live muziek!

We went to the Chateau d’Estoublon for a wine testing and left with a bunch of wine and olive oil!
The restaurant was also very good, if you’re in the area, I encourage you to visit!

We waren hier 2x eerder geweest. Dus een 3e bezoek zou ook wel kunnen? Van te voren gebeld om te vragen of de chef een voor- en hoofdgerecht kon klaarmaken voor 2 veganisten. De rest van de tafelgenoten zou a la carte eten. Tuurlijk was dat mogelijk. Op de dag zelf bleek dat er op de kaart 2 gerechtjes waren die aangepast konden worden aan veganisten. Dat was dus niet de bedoeling. Daarbij werd nog aan andere zaken voorbij gegaan, zoals brood, olijven, zout, peper op tafel als knabbeltje. Er werd een voorafje vergeten. Nee, dit doen we niet nogmaals. Helaas.
