A green oasis housing some one hundred works by Sauze, poetic installations in which sculpture becomes one with plants

In 1963, Max Sauze - visual artist, sculptor and lighting designer - arrived in Éguilles and discovered this abandoned garden. Over the years, the artist restored it and filled it with his works, infusing it with such poetry that in 2005. Classified as a Jardin Remarquable, it is now home to around a hundred of Sauze's poetic installations, in which sculpture becomes one with plants. Un superbe patrimoine artistique à l'abandon ! Je ne comprends pas l'inertie de la commune de la commune d'Eguilles qui laisse le jardin et surtout les oeuvres de Max Sauze, pericliter au fil des ans car les propriétaires en raison de leur grand âge n'arrivent plus à en assurer l'entretien. Quel dommage !

Artiste qui ouvre grand ses portes pour découvrir son univers construit depuis tout une vie, lorsque sa maison était la seule dans tous les environs. Un accueil donc par se femme également très chaleureux et un jardin rempli de belles espèces de plantes, parcouru par des sculptures le plus souvent métalliques très chouettes, qui s'intègrent parfaitement dans ce paysage exotique en pleine ville
