After the beach, the young locals are happy to cool off with a glass of ice cream at Le Cendrillon, or with a chilled pastis as an aperitif, or in the evening, when elegant cocktails accompany live concerts in season. Hearty salads and typical dishes such as gambas a la plancha (plain or Provençal style), at very reasonable prices. The restaurant also offers well-made risottos (truffle, duck breast or scallops and prawns). In the evening, the festive atmosphere is much appreciated. A Cassidian address not to be missed.

Quand on lui a demandé de retirer les tomates, il s’est permis une remarque hautaine du type “on ne dit pas lever les tomates, on dit sans tomates”, avec un ton méprisant. Plus tard, ma collègue demande une cuisson “normale” pour son burger ; il lui répond qu’il ne sait pas ce qu’est sa normalité puisqu’il ne vit pas avec elle, tout en la tutoyant sans gêne.
Ce genre de comportement est inutilement condescendant. Être jeunes ne veut pas dire qu’on mérite moins de respect. C’est dommage, car la cuisine était réussie et l’un des serveurs, lui, a été très agréable tout au long du repas.
