A marine protection area in Carry-le-Rouet, organizes fun workshops and aquatic walks during the summer.
This marine protected area, created in 1982, extends over 28 km. It concentrates its actions on 2 marine protected reserve zones, at Cap Couronne (210 ha) and Carry-le-Rouet (85 ha). The park has installed artificial reefs to help the ecosystem develop, as well as anti-spawning reefs, and carries out scientific studies on its own actions. In summer, the park organizes fun workshops and aquatic hikes (registration required).
