Unbelievable: a gladiator school! Asterix wouldn't believe it. Go back in time to ancient Rome and the era of gladiatorial combat. Far from clichés, the Ars Athletica association is reviving this sport in the arenas of Arles. One Saturday a month, Cyril Méot trains novices, men or women, in the gestures of gladiators. Amateurs will learn how to fight in duels, weighed down with armour that can weigh up to 15 kg. Some gifted trainees will have the opportunity to participate, as extras, in the annual Arelate festival.
