This formal garden is a haven of peace, where you can relax on one of the benches along the shady paths.
A stone's throw from the Cours Sextius, this garden is a haven of peace where you can relax along shady paths scented with roses near the orangery. A formal park adorns the front of the Pavillon de Vendôme, a small 17th-century "folie" commissioned by Louis de Mercoeur, Duc de Vendôme, to house his secret love affair with Lucrèce de Forbin, "la belle du Canet". Now a city museum, it hosts temporary exhibitions of modern works and one-off events.
