LA FONTAINE OBSCURE
The name of the association was borrowed from a historical novel by Raymond Jean, a Roman writer and professor of literature at the University of Provence. At the end of 2012, the association invested a space of 180 m ² located in the old canteen of «La Aquabella». It includes a photographic area that hosts an exhibition every month and a friendly place where the members can find themselves. Created in 1979, La Fontaine Obscure brings together amateurs, photographers, as well as curious, passionate and collectors. On the first Wednesday of the month, amateurs find themselves in a portfolio reading, but they can also participate in courses and courses. Meeting place, La Fontaine Obscure is also a gallery open to the general public. It makes every effort to promote this art by organizing the Phot'Aix festival annually in October, a marquant life event that allows you to walk from one place to another across the city and admire the photographic works of various artists.
