Located at one of the corners of Place Richelme and Rue Fauchier, this small pub with its typical decoration is very popular with students and also with young people in Aix-en-Provence who are more interested in this type of place than in trendy bars. It's often crowded. But in this case, you can fortunately take a seat on its terrace, which is spread out over several levels on the Place Richelme, to enjoy a good beer with friends chosen from the wide choice offered. This Pub also offers you its thematic evenings and, permanently, a lively and relaxed atmosphere appreciated by young and old alike. Happy-hour from 5pm to 8.30pm every day. Concerts and djs very regularly. Student evenings on Thursdays.

I don’t know if this place hates tourists or if they’re terrible at math but one has to be true. They attempted to drastically overcharge me whilst trying to cover the price on the card machine that I was tapping on. Avoid at all costs.

Bar person tried to rip us off. Check what they are charging on the machine before you tap your card. Second time this has happened in the last 24 hours in Aix-en -Provence which is a shame.

Un lieu qui n'a pas changé
J'allais déjà au Brigand lorsque j'étais étudiant. Ce n'était pas mon bar préféré à l'époque mais on y passait du bon temps. Beaucoup d'années plus tard, je retourne dans ce bar et rien n'a changé. La déco est la même, les gens sont les mêmes. Les toilettes aussi ! Il y a dans ce bar à bière une faune plutôt rock n' roll qui n'est pas sans me déplaire. Puisque des endroits comme celui-ci se font rares désormais. La terrasse est toujours aussi petite, la bière pas chère à condition de prendre la pinte de lager. Et désormais on vous sert à table, pratique purement commerciale pour plus vendre. Mais c'est pas grave, le Brigand reste un lieu sympa où l'on passe un bon moment.
