BRASSERIE LE FORUM
The Forum was set up on the edge of the courthouse in 1965. The brasserie is friendly and trendy and has recently been given a makeover. A regular clientele meets there in the morning to drink a small coffee and leaf through La Provence, and people come back at aperitif time at the counter or on the terrace, there is always a good atmosphere. To accompany the drink, there are platters of Corsican cold meats and cheeses, and also oysters and shellfish from September to April at the end of the week - they are chosen from the stall of Thierry, the shucker who makes the journey every week from the Thau lake. Depending on the time of day and if you're hanging around, you can go on to the table: entrecote from the butcher, salmon tartar or tagliatelle with pesto, everything is home-made. Good choice of draught or bottled beers too.
