A place dedicated to dance. Angelin Preljocaj's ballet, which celebrated thirty years of creation in contemporary dance in 2015, took over the beautiful Pavillon Noir in Aix in 2006. This national choreographic centre is located in the modern cultural district at the edge of the Allées Provençales. The programming of the Pavillon Noir includes the creations of the resident company, but also creations by other choreographers, some in residence. In 2015, the Pavillon Noir benefited from an extension of its premises, designed by Rudy Ricciotti.
