Chef Max Frobel's cuisine is straightforward and generous, faithful to the classics of the French bistro. Braised meats, reduced sauces, comforting desserts. The smell of the dishes whets the appetite as soon as you arrive: braised veal onglet, confit shoulder of lamb... served in a warm atmosphere. Its name pays homage to the current owner's grandfather, who renovated an old farmhouse into a warm and welcoming home, with a table always ready to welcome family, friends and acquaintances. Today, the place celebrates the good life and conviviality, offering lovingly prepared cuisine and a selection of fine bottles from the cellar. The decor, both raw and with solid, timeless furnishings, creates the perfect atmosphere for shared meals, enlivened by stories and laughter. Chef Max Froble and his brigade offer comforting, creative and flavorful cuisine for lunch and dinner every day. Discover, for example, organic trout from the Larzac region served with celery purée and a hazelnut beurre blanc sauce. seul bémol, une ambiance insuffisamment travaillée et peut-être malgré les efforts une trop grande proximité de la départementale qui reste passante et bruyante. Ceci n'a cependant pas entamé notre plaisir. Excellente adresse qui mériterait un écrin plus en accord avec la qualité de la prestation globale.
