Convivial restaurant located a stone's throw from the Place des Tanneurs offering affordable seasonal cuisine in Aix-en-Provence.

Petit Verdot is first a grape planted since the 1980 s in the properties of Médoc. In Aix, this is the jogolo name of this recently picked wine bar. Just a stone's throw from the Tanneurs Square, the place is intimate and friendly, a little like the lyonian caps or Italian wine bars. On the kitchen side, it is good, affordable and nice with a card that regularly changes according to the season. At the moment: Artichoke of artichoke, homemade foie gras, chutney apricot Timut, pulp of eggplant garlic and mint, lamb of lamb braided for more than 7 h, plays pork candies candied meat and flower honey, saint stone to vanilla oil and to finish one tasty cream with saffron. Very beautiful list of selected wines. Extra welcome!

20 ans après… la même sensation agréable dans ce restaurant. Nous avons été fort bien accueillis, et nous avons également très très bien mangé. Nous y retournerons rapidement

Super restaurant ! De l’entrée, du plat au dessert, c’était excellent. Un bon mélange de saveurs ! Ambiance conviviale et familiale, avec une bonne et large carte de vin, c’etait parfait. Merci pour l’accueil et à bientôt !

I really enjoyed my meal at Le Petit Verdot. I had the artichoke starter and it was wonderful. All of the starters looked amazing. The beef main course was cooked perfectly and the wine pairing made this a great experience. I had the Lavender Crème Brûlée for dessert and it was fantastic. Please visit if you can, you won’t be disappointed.

Très bonne adresse a Aix en Provence. Tout est cuisiné maison, avec cuisine ouverte. Service gentil et efficace. Plats délicieux.

Il discorso qui è molto semplice: siete ad Aix, venite a mangiare qui almeno una volta, posto un po’ nascosto ma bisogna prenotare. Terza volta. Tra un ristorante e un bistrot in francia. Sempre il bistrot è una regola per me. Non per il prezzo, perchè tanto devi mettere in conto 50+ a persona, ma per la qualità. Piatti a regola d’arte e sono molto critico su come si mangia in Francia.

Mini guida per chi viene dall’italia. Noi abbiamo le trattorie loro i bistrot. Un bistrot in italia è un enoteca dove si assaggia bevendo vino, di solito roba riscaldata ma non ha la cucina per vie di leggi ecc ecc. A volte è un enoteca + ristorante. Qui il bistrot è un ristorante con solo i piatti del giorno. Potrebbero essere gli stessi per mesi ma non esiste il menú fisso.
