Traditional cuisine revisited with excellent value for money in a restaurant lounge bar in Aix-en-Provence.
The place is part of the Aix heritage since, before being a restaurant, it was the old oil factory of Aix-en-Provence and also a calissons factory. There are still some beautiful vaults and the old presses. The Bataclan has taken over the two floors of this building, with two different atmospheres depending on the time of day, a lounge restaurant, a tapas bar and a place where you can go before going to a club. The chef, Jean-François Mantoya, offers Mediterranean and Asian fusion cuisine. The homemade desserts are delicious. An ideal place to privatize an event or to host your seminar. For the record, "le bataclan" in Provencal means a happy b... azar!
