Home-made cooking with fresh products in a restaurant located in the center of Aix.

On the menu, small dishes such as guinea fowl supreme, mushroom and parmesan risotto or saddle of lamb stuffed with chard and pine nuts, cheeses from Maison Savelli and a smooth, crunchy lemon meringue tart to finish. Everything is homemade with fresh produce, field-grown vegetables and foie gras from a small producer in the Gers. The wines to accompany the dishes are carefully selected by Joris, and it's his partner Paola, with her charming Italian accent, who welcomes you with a smile.

A take on traditional flavors of the Provence and the south. Each of the plates were generous and flavors not too overwhelming. I had a delicious pigeon with foie gras and lots of veggies. Our friend had the lamb and my daughter loved the Guinea fowl with mushrooms. Perfect cold weather comfort food!

The meal we had exceeded the expectations we had. All three of the starters were fantastic and the Guinea fowl main was excellent. We dined early in the evening, around 630 and for most of our meal it was just the two of us which was nice.
