Home-made food with fresh products in a fast-food restaurant

Pierre-François (everyone calls him Pierre) Giuge, who opened this chain 13 years ago in a little street at the top of the Cours Mirabeau, works with fresh produce and focuses on pretty presentations, gourmet flavors and a few culinary inventions to wake up our taste buds. Sandwich food, but with quality and elegance. On the menu: special breads and a variety of ingredients for your sandwiches, as well as soups, like the one with peas we tried today, main courses (what a delicious duck parmentier!) and desserts, mousse or homemade chocolate: everything is made by Pierre, who cooks for our pleasure! To eat in or take away? All you have to do is choose.

Excellent for lunch while visiting Aix. Off the main streets and away from the crowd. We had a salad and a burger. Both were delicious.

The plate of the day was very nice (duck with white beans) and a great price but salmon sandwich has room for improvement, especially the bread. The soup was fine and the chocolate mousse was very good! Be prepared for a wait. It was a good experience overall and I would certainly try more of the daily dishes.
