Classified as a historical monument, the Nice Opera House was completely destroyed by fire in 1881. The following year, the municipality rebuilt a new theater and, in 1902, the building took the name we know today. With a choir, a ballet and the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, and attended by exceptional artists, it is characterized by the excellence of its opera productions and its commitment to modernity. The facade of the opera house on the sea side, on the Quai des Etats-Unis, is worth a look.

La salle de l'opéra de Nice ainsi que le hall, le foyer... sont des bâtiments à découvrir pour leur beauté. De plus l’acoustique et l'ambiance du lieu est propice à l'écoute de grandes œuvres classiques. Une expérience à faire même si vous n'êtes pas un inconditionnel de la musique classique.
