Concert halls Nice

Located in the old town, the Nice Opera House can accommodate about 1,100 spectators in its Italian-style décor adorned in gold and red. It has a philharmonic orchestra, a dance company and a professional choir. The artistic season offers a lyrical, symphonic and choreographic program mainly oriented towards discovery. The works pay tribute to the classical repertoire but also to contemporary creations, concerts for children, rap concerts and shows by young choreographers and creators.

As its name suggests, laughter is the key word in this beautiful purple room that can accommodate up to 240 people. The first performances are regularly café-theater and one-man/woman shows. Unlike the small theaters of old Nice, the room is spacious and offers three different categories. This theater often hosts well-known artists and revisited famous plays. For fun and laughter, come and be entertained.

A true niçese institution placed on Garibaldi Square, this heritage cinema dedicated to author films is one of the oldest in the City. Its rooms broadcast more than twenty films a week, from the recent outflows to research works, to the great classics. Original versions, first vision films and extended programming for some feature films that are not long on display are also part of the mission of this place, which has been bringing together the cinema for more than 40 years. In addition to this, cinema offers many animations dedicated to young people during school holidays.

To attend a film at the Cinémathèque de Nice, you must fill out a subscription form: the monthly program will then be sent to your home. The legacy of the 7 th art is filled by the rich programming that offers between 350 and 400 films per year projected under maximum comfort (and V.O. for foreign films) and often punctuated by meetings and debates. Classical films, major works of silent film or recent feature films too quickly disappeared from posters are given to film-makers who also benefit from lectures on history, aesthetics and cinema techniques.

A musical, magical and romantic evening in unusual places? Come and listen to talented musicians illuminated by the light of hundreds of candles on modern themes: tribute to Coldplay, Goldman or Queen. In winter, the Candlelight collective welcomes you to the Palais de la Méditerranée; in summer, it's in the Temple of Love in the splendid Parc Chambrun. Regular events are also organized in the incredible Château de Crémat on the theme of film music. With your head in the stars, live a moment suspended to the sweet sounds of orchestras.

The Théâtre de la Libé is an entertainment venue located in Nice. It offers a varied program, from comedies to concerts and plays. Shows include "C'est un beau roman...", an almost romantic comedy, and "Lu Barbalùcou", a concert of folk and traditional music. The theater also offers courses and workshops for those wishing to learn more about acting.
