Located in the old town of Nice, it is both a lounge and a tasting counter that takes us back a few centuries. The decoration is magnificent, in the old style, mixing copper metal and woodwork, in a pleasant atmosphere. A real bistro, with a chic style, from another time. On our side, we loved to settle down upstairs, to observe the decoration of the bar.

From the entrance of the Old Nice, near the Place du Palais de Justice, this establishment is a must in the life of Nice and can be visited at any time of the day. From the tea tasting moment, to the aperitif hour when you enjoy a good fruit cocktail accompanied by free tapas, and later when the place turns into a nightclub, the party is in full swing and the prices are low. Known for its 80's parties on Thursday nights. In a friendly and dancing atmosphere, with music played by talented bands or mixed by a DJ.

Gin is making a remarkable comeback behind the counters of the trendiest bartenders of the moment. And Nice has followed suit with the very first gin bar on the Côte d'Azur. Set up on the Promenade des Anglais, this gin den is already attracting a clientele of regulars. London Dry, floral or aromatic, find no less than 150 gins from all over the world accompanied by more than 10 different tonics to be tasted with a plate of Pata Negra Puro de Bellota, a delight! An address that lacks neither pep nor creativity, to be visited without moderation!

Opposite the Jardin Albert^1er, the BrewDog is a beer bar specialized in IPA beer. It offers a wide choice, you will easily find your happiness among its many references. Ideal to relax for an aperitif between friends. You have the possibility of tasting burgers and salads with many vegan proposals to leave nobody on the floor.

Charcuterie and cheese boards are also available.

Ma Nolan's is an Irish pub with a jovial atmosphere and an early 20th century decor. This is where the Anglo-Saxon community meets to listen to pop-rock music and sip a whiskey, a cocktail or a good Irish beer. From 12pm to 11pm, a full menu offers starters, main courses and desserts. The biggest sporting events are broadcast live and bands play every night of the week from 10pm.

When the 3 Devils open the doors of their kingdom, a warm wind blows on the Cours Saleya. On the first floor, on the beautiful terrace or in the small room located upstairs, the atmosphere is festive and friendly for wild parties until the middle of the night. If the decoration is rather minimalist, with brick walls which give to this establishment a dark and muffled atmosphere, a few drinks are enough to relax the guests, on a well rhythmed sound background or during one of the thematic evenings. In a felted and cosy atmosphere, the Comptoir Central Electrique (CCE) invites you at any time of day to relax around a hot chocolate or a fresh fruit juice. Settled in an old electricity shop, the CCE is also a restaurant at midday and in the evening for gourmet dishes, and a hearty Sunday brunch (booking advised). The friendly and cheerful welcome of the team adds to the conviviality of this very bright place!

If the reputation of Ma Nolan's in the old town of Nice is well established, the eponymous pub located on the quays of the port is also worth a visit. Same neat decoration, same friendly atmosphere. Bands play every weekend and there are many sports broadcasts. The drinks menu is varied. The beautiful terrace offers an extraordinary view of the port of Nice, with the castle hill in the background. To try it is to adopt it.

Moreover, the New Zealand owner belongs to the Ngati Kuri tribe! Coming to the Waka Bar, you can enjoy delicious cocktails, beers and various alcohols but also smoothies prepared on site. The establishment also proposes a small restoration to be consumed on the spot or to take away: fish and chips, burgers, tapas... The welcome is pleasant.

This café-restaurant, opened in 2013, has become a must for cycling enthusiasts, but also for fans of good food and conviviality. The cuisine is inventive and gourmet with a menu that changes often (fish tartars, colorful salads, burgers, risottos, veggie dishes, homemade desserts). Its decoration is inspired by the world of cycling with a terrace overlooking the canoeists and a cosy room. The site also offers a bike repair workshop, as well as a store selling clothes and accessories for cyclists.
