Beautiful establishment located near the Promenade des Anglais.

Located 80 m from the famous Promenade Des Anglais (some rooms offer a glimpse of the sea) and just 10 minutes car from downtown, this is a beautiful establishment with 48 rooms adapted for business tourism and leisure. The rooms are equipped with double glazing, a telephone, a flat-screen television, individual air conditioning and a fully equipped bathroom with shower or bathtub. All are spacious for this category. The Hôtel Locarno has a closed private parking in the basement on reservation. An address with a good value for money, and a professional and pleasant reception.

Mais trop cher pour ce que c’est. Les chambres sont trop petites et ont besoin d’un petit renouveau. L’insonorisation laisse à désirer. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir et chez les voisins!

больше всего порадовало расположение относительно пляжа, но до старого города идти минут 20, нас это не пугает мы любим ходить пешком, если кому то тяжело, рядом остановка трамвая и за 1.7 до центра

This is a charming hotel recalling the belle epoch, a refreshing change from the global modernistic hotel chains. Less amenities, more quirks, but somehow a place you are comfortable returning to after a long day. It makes no demands on you--the staff are relaxed and helpful, not scripted. There if you need them.||Flaws yes. Slow internet, some deferred maintenance in the rooms, slow elevator, but nothing majorly off-putting. Proximity to the beach and eateries a huge plus. I tested out three hotels during my stay in Nice, two modern, and then this one.||The other two are forgettable, this one I will return to.

Stayed here end of May. The hotel location is close to many things. The weather was nice and near 80 most days. |ROOM: The AC worked well. There is a safe. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small. There was mold in the shower and the room had a musty smell. No vent in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in shower.|There was trash left behind in the closet from a previous occupant. |Breakfast: it was the normal French breakfast…breads, cold cuts, sausage, some fruit and eggs.|The bad: no drawers to put clothes in. Had to leave everything in suitcase. No iron board or iron in room. Must be requested. No wash clothes. Not enough outlets to plug in stuff. One near the bed and the other by the window. |If the bed had not been comfortable I would not recommend this place. It was good for a very short stay. We could hear the person next door coughing so we assume the walls were thin, however it was quiet most nights.
