Amazing hotel, and not too far from the station, old nice and good restaurants

We had a wonderful long weekend in Nice staying at The Jay hotel. All the staff were super friendly and especially Liliana on reception was an absolute star.

The reviews convinced us to book but the room was truly filthy: dusty and covered with mold!
We had a handicap accessible room so our room was likely larger than most but the lack of cleanliness in this place was alarming.
The sheets were dirty, the bed was terrible, and the mold in multiple places was concerning.
We would’ve left if there was another hotel close that had availability during our stay but it was a busy week in Nice. Do not recommend unfortunately regardless of how kind and helpful the staff is. Not worth the money.
