Brasserie with terrace offering gourmet dishes
A good welcome and impeccable service for this brasserie, which offers family and generous cuisine. The dishes have made good simple in a cadre framework: mudflap, pick, salad or omelet. This is an absolutely first class brasserie. Spotlessly clean with swift, professional service, but friendly. We felt very welcome even though it was lunchtime and we only wanted drinks, however, the choice of food was so varied and what we glanced at on other tables looked so appetising, that we ordered a light lunch. Ham and cheese omelette (menu included frites and salad) and a ham and cheese pancake (menu included green salad). We couldn't fault it. It's very conveniently located on the Rue de France which runs parallel to the Prom. des Anglais. Look for the Hotel Negresco on google aerial view because it's easy to spot, and it's on that part of the the Rue de France behind it. We were so disappointed to have discovered this gem of a place on the last day of our holiday, instead of our first, or we would undoubtedly have revisited as often as possible. We just loved the atmosphere, so authentically French despite being so close to a major tourist area.

Evitate questo squallido posto…ero appena arrivato in vacanza in attesa del check-in avevo chiesto molto cortesemente di usare un secondo la toilette la proprietaria molto sgarbatamente mi ha detto che era rotto ma non può restare aperta se ha il bagno rotto!!! Vergogna!!!
