Ce lieu nous a été indiqué par Théo L et nous avons été servi par Alex… le propriétaire nous a salué . Nous avons très bien mangé en « mode » tapas avec de très bons vins sélectionnés individuellement. Décidément une tes belle adresse au port de Nice. Il manque juste une légère musique sur la terrasse mais compréhensible pour aucune nuisance sonore pour les résidents autour.
Une belle adresse ou l’on aime se retrouver entre amis ! Bravo !

This wine bar is very welcoming and cute. No wonder they got mentioned by Michelin guide. I came here for just one drink and snacks and I think that’s exactly what this place is about.

The menu here is all about wine and everything that comes with it: small plates, raw plates, appetizers, breads, charcuterie boards, etc. I had a beef tataki with herring roe and Mimosa eggs (a variation of deviled eggs with sardines on top). Both delicious.

I tried only one type of wine which was Pinot Noir and it was light and fruity. Service here is amazing, everyone’s very attentive and welcoming. Mark this spot for your next visit to Nice!

UPD: I have to correct my previous review. Over a couple years they became worse. Last time I ordered a tiramisu, they brought me just a mascarpone cream sprinkled with chocolate. No biscuits. I barely touched it and told my waiter I didn't like it. They still charged me for it. Not cool, guys. Also, the atmosphere is gone, so 2*. It's very sad when one of your favorite places becomes bad

Only came for drinks but bar has a great wine selection and wine is very good. They also have their own local beer which was very nice

Some of the best food I had in France. I dream about going back to this place, enjoying the wine food and desserts. As a solo traveler, I especially love this place because you can order a glass of wine from most of the bottles on the wine list for 1/4 of the bottle price. Most other places you have to order a bottle or go for the house wines for a glass. Not here! Everything is delicious.

„ROUGE“, Bar a vin, Nizza: wir sind zu viert am Abend hingegangen. Der Kellner hat bemerkt, dass wir uns bei der Weinwahl unsicher sind und hat uns toll beraten. Dazu gab es hervorragende Snacks, kalt & warm. Service prima, Essen & Trinken sehr gut, Preis-/Leistung passt auch. Das Rouge kann man weiterempfehlen.

Non avevo mai provato questo tipo di cucina , e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso .

Une découverte de haut vol. Un endroit qui lie la qualité gustative de chaque mets , une présentation digne d un restaurant étoilé , une cave à vin avec un grand choix. J ai eu l occasion de découvrir un grand brut Alpin ( Pétillant de savoie) excellent. Bref une adresse à ne pas manquer à Nice.

Had the squid and razor clams for a late lunch. I sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect. Staff was super friendly and recommended some delicious local wine which I ended up getting 2 glasses of. Even though this is a ‘wine bar’, they really treat their food seriously. Would totally recommend it if you’re in the area.

J’ai trouvé les prix assez élevés par rapport à la qualité et à la quantité des plats servis. Certains manquaient vraiment de garniture et de saveur, ce qui est décevant compte tenu du tarif. Dommage, car avec des portions plus généreuses et un peu plus de soin dans la préparation, l’expérience serait beaucoup plus satisfaisante.

As we wandered down from Castle Hill, still buzzing from the views, we stumbled upon Rouge—and we’re so glad we did. Tucked just off the main path, it felt like one of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself.

From the moment we stepped in, we felt at ease. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of style and comfort. It’s elegant but unpretentious—exactly the kind of place you want to unwind after a day of exploring.

Now let’s talk about the food and wine—because wow. Every dish we tried was fresh, seasonal, and full of flavor. Beautifully presented, clearly made with care, and honestly some of the best meals we had in Nice. The prices felt more than fair for the quality, though we’d say it leans toward the higher end depending on your budget—but absolutely worth it.

The wine list was another highlight. You can tell they really know and love their wines. We asked for a recommendation, and the staff were happy to guide us to the perfect pairing. At one point, we even overheard another guest jotting down the name of a bottle to find back home—always a good sign!

And truly, the team at Rouge made the experience even better. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming—no stuffy vibe, just great hospitality. Whether you’re in for a glass of wine or a full dinner, they make you feel like you belong.
