Restaurant located a few steps from the port of Nice, offering home-made Italian cuisine with seasonal produce.

Just a stone's throw from the port of Nice, Epiro celebrates Italian cuisine. In a bistro atmosphere, the menu is renewed each season. Here, everything is homemade, even the sourdough bread, and portions are generous. The tasting menu sublimates the products, delighting the eyes as well as the taste buds, and transports us directly to Italy while borrowing a few Asian flavors. A particular favorite is the Cacio and pepe. A fine selection of natural Italian wines. Reservations strongly recommended for evenings and weekends.

Très belle découverte ce soir du restaurant Epiro. L’accueil était chaleureux et tout les plats délicieux. Nous avons partagé un plateau de fromages et charcuterie tous soigneusement sélectionnés. Puis nous avons chacun apprécié notre plat de pâtes fraîches avec leurs sauces très justement maîtrisées. Enfin le dessert s’est terminé sur une très bonne surprise. C’est souvent ce que les restaurants réussissent le moins (je trouve), mais chez Epiro le dessert était à la hauteur des plats : bien travaillé et avec des produits de qualités.

???? Bonne ambiance, mais cuisine décevante… ????

J’ai passé une très bonne soirée entre amis à Epiro Nice. L’endroit est agréable et leur sélection musicale est top ????✨ Rien que pour ça, ils méritent un 5/5 !

Côté cuisine, en revanche, grosse déception…

Les pâtes et autres plats n’étaient pas à la hauteur.
J’ai pris la langue de bœuf, malheureusement trop sèche et caoutchouteuse.
???? En résumé : Un bel endroit pour l’ambiance et la musique, mais si vous venez pour bien manger, passez votre chemin. La date de visite: 18 décembre
