Welcome to one of Nice's most cosy and intimate rooftops. Bonobo's Bar, perched on the roof of the SPLENDID hotel, offers three floors of pergola-covered terraces. Here, you can nibble on a delicious tapas menu in a lounge setting, while sipping a highly original signature cocktail. In summer, a DJ transports you into the electro music vibe. In the Jungle Restaurant, the chef concocts more refined dishes: fish, meat and salads.

This place didn't live up to expectations. I was expecting a modern roof top, but this place is more like your grandmother's garden with a view of the city. The interior is outdated, as are the decorations. The food was on 3,5. Photos in Google do not meet the requirements of the menu. So if you want fish, you won't find it there. The pasta was overcooked and had almost no taste, only the parmesan saved, the burger was not bad, but not something super. All prices are around 25€ , but nearby you can find a restaurant with a Michelin star and there will be the same prices but the taste is much brighter. In a word, here is a simple meal that is clearly prepared by a novice chef. The audience is mostly from the hotel and aged.
The service was warm and attentive. I liked the view of the city.

Accueil froid et agacé car nous n'avions pas réservé (sur conseil de la personne de l'accueil de l'hôtel).
Table dans un coin proche des produits à vitre et des cendriers vides!
Plateau de charcuterie à partager bon mais sans extravagance ni surprise.

Ended up here on a busy August night, when our party of nine had no reservation anywhere for dinner. After scolding us for trying to book such a large table last minute, they were able to accommodate us :)

Food was generally good - though the price does include the (fantastic) view of the city from the rooftop. Service was attentive - we were all pleased.
