The wedding hall at Menton Town Hall is splendid: entirely decorated by the artist Jean Cocteau in 1958, discover murals, wooden doors with diamond-point motifs, leopard-style carpets, bronze candelabras and, of course, the eternal portraits of lovers in a meander of lines in the colors of Menton. The frescoes tell the story of Orpheus and Eurydice through a poetic allegorical wedding. Grandiose!

Visite incontournable pour tout amateur de l'univers graphique de Cocteau. Superbes fresques aux riches couleurs que l'on peut admirer de près dans cette petite salle intime.

la salle de mariage est vraiment une merveille...jean cocteau un vrai artiste. une tres belle mairie, je recommande la visite de la salle.
