This gourmet restaurant, part of the beautiful eponymous hotel nestled in the hills above Cagnes, features a luminous room with a sliding ceiling for open-air lunches and dinners. The beautiful sea-view terrace embraces the castle landscape, from Villeneuve-Loubet to Cap d'Antibes. The French cuisine is tasty and refined, but oh so convivial, based on regional and seasonal themes. A fine selection of wines accompanies the meal. A place of charm, authenticity, character and modernity.

Great Hotel, book thru Hilton SLH website. Love the room, completely renovated to modern specs but kept its 13th century feel to it. What a location, beautiful walk thru the streets. DO NOT drive to Lobby with car as indicated by Google Maps. You can make it, but with a small car, one way street.

My partner and I have been a guest at Chateau Le Cagnard, both the restaurant and the hotel, many times. The restaurant never disappoints and has a spectacular view. This place is truly a hidden gem.
