Restaurant with terrace specializing in generous and subtle Italian cuisine with fresh products including pizzas

When a well-known Cagnois chef (formerly of Gusto) sets up his own restaurant, the result is Zagara. Situated opposite the racecourse, the restaurant offers fresh Italian cuisine that's both generous and subtle. Gigantic pizzas take pride of place, but risottos and fish dishes are equally impressive. You don't come to La Zagara for its terrace overlooking a busy (albeit pleasant) avenue, but you do come for the food and the service. And that's what it's all about!

Nous avons découvert avec plaisir un lieu à profiter d'une cuisine chaleureuse et un service, présent mais non oppressant. Un endroit dont seul les Italiens ont le secret, une âme familiale et pourtant.... Rien à redire on en repart avec une envie d'y retourner pour découvrir les autres mets qui font foison.... Bonne continuation....

We had a superb lunch here in early June. The ravioli burrata was incredible. The four cheese pizza was too much for lunch, and was finished at home for dinner. Service was friendly and patient with our poor French and very poor Italian. Of course, English was spoken by the younger staff.
