Restaurant featuring a Michelin-starred section and a bistro, offering original menus and dishes exploring Provencal traditions

Don't be fooled by its location. Located a few kilometers from the city center in a small shopping zone, Restaurant Pierre Grein was awarded its first Michelin star in 2021, which will be renewed in 2025. The former Bistronomique restaurant has been revamped to offer a bright, comfortable setting. An original menu and set menus are complemented by a magnificent presentation of dishes that explore Provencal tradition with technique and modernity. And even more: the trompe-l'œil desserts are, quite simply, works of art.

What a treat! We were up driving around the lavender fields in the Valensole area and tried this for a lovely lunch. The restaurant is in two parts: the fine dining (Michelin star) restaurant and the Bistro. We tried the bistro and were amazed at the quality and reasonable price. We were there on a weekday and were able to get a table without a reservation and had a wonderful lunch for ~€30/person. The chicken Tagine dish was inventive and had spices from the middle east, while the deconstructed Duck confit dish was a hearty provençal dish. Both were beautifully presented and service was good. they have an extensive wine and liquor selection, so you just can't go wrong. The location is a little off the beaten path, but if you have a car, GPS takes you right there. Enjoy!

Une expérience unique dans un lieu décoré avec goût et finesse. Les plats sont succulents et copieux pour un restaurant étoilé.
Nous avons été conquis par le menu en 7 services. Et le professionnalisme de l'équipe en salle est très appréciable.
