A stork has decided to nest in Poitiers. It nests between the arches of the Pont du Palais. At the head of this pretty and welcoming boutique, Jean unearths the best products from Alsace, his native land. In addition to gingerbread and spaetzle, the store offers all the ingredients you need to make sauerkraut or flammekueche. You'll also find tableware, soaps, candles and other artisanal and gourmet products from the East. In the back, pinot noirs and gewurztraminers fill the cellar. The place also doubles as a restaurant and tea room. You can enjoy generous homemade tarts, artisanal ice creams, delicious pretzels and, at lunchtime, the establishment's own sauerkraut.
