GARDEN OF THE SENSES

Deaf to the noise that rumbles on the main roads nearby, this ecological and educational garden of 7,000 m² is located in the grounds of the former Pasteur hospital, near the river Clain. Designed by landscape architects Gilles Clément and Marie-Cécile Allard, it is divided into a structured part with paths, a pond, a small bamboo forest, a very small green theatre, and a wild meadow where various plants and nomadic insects grow and invite themselves as they please. Your five senses will be solicited by the smell of the rooster mint, the rustle of the leaves or the water... The ideal walk in spring and autumn...
