INSTITUT CONFUCIUS

There are now 17 of them in France, but we can be proud that the first one was installed in 2005 on our university campus in Poitou. Within its walls, you will learn to speak Chinese. A partnership between our university and Nanchang University, the Confucius Institute offers Chinese language courses to students, those of the Inter-Age University, employees wishing to develop their relations with China and anyone wishing to take their HSK, an internationally recognized test to assess your level. A course is even offered to children from 6 years old on Saturday mornings. The Confucius Institute also offers many cultural activities such as Chinese calligraphy and painting courses, exhibitions, shows and Mahjong workshops, a game very popular in China.
