La Guinguette Pictave is a unique waterside venue on the Chemin de Tison in Poitiers, France. Open all year round, the site combines dining, relaxation, leisure and conviviality in a lively, natural setting. The site is home to seven permanent foodtrucks offering a variety of home-cooked dishes: Thai, Lebanese, Japanese, Mexican and Portuguese specialties, as well as American burgers, Italian pizzas and sweet treats. Several bars dot the site, including an atmospheric bar with DJ set Thursday to Saturday evenings until 2am. There's also a chill-out beach, an artisanal ice-cream bar and a self-service beer wall. As for entertainment, La Guinguette Pictave is renowned for its free, fun-filled events: shuffleboard tournaments, darts, cornhole, beerpong and Mario Kart on a giant screen. A games library staffed by entertainers is open every day for young and old alike. Water-based activities on the river Clain complete the offer: Didier rides, the pink flamingo-shaped pedal boat, paddle or canoe tours. All in all, La Guinguette Pictave is a warm and festive place, ideal for getting together for a drink, a meal or a moment of relaxation.
