Very active in their discipline, the aeromodelling clubs of Thouars and Deux-Sévriens have been organizing a world cup competition on the Noisé plain for almost 50 years: the free-flight stage of the French qualifying championships. More recently, these enthusiasts have also been getting together for the Belgian championship. These two fun-filled events will have your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds. And for the kids: let the junior champions impress you.

You will tour Tourtenay and its surroundings in search of beautiful views of the vineyards. Among the historical sites you will cross: the church of Tourtenay, founded by the evangelizing monk Fort, from Saint-Jouin-de-Marnes; the hamlet of Le Moulin, famous for its resistance acts in 1941 - 16 radio transmitters were parachuted there; the Petit-Puy and the church of Saint-Martin, built on the edge of an old Compostela path at 110 m altitude.
