An aggregates production site, located 1.5 km from the town center, with a panoramic viewpoint.
CMGO extracts 1.3 million tons of granite per year from the Pont quarry, located 1.5 km from the town centre, the raw material for its aggregates. The production site covers nearly 80 hectares, a vast lunar landscape that you can visit free of charge in the summer during the activities of the association l'Homme et la pierre. The site includes a belvedere that is open all year round: go there, the panorama is worth a look. Two panels tell you all about the exploitation of a deposit of this type, the different trades involved and the use of the finished product.
