A friendly farm with 250 goats (Alpine and Saanen), also listed on the Route des Fromages de Chèvre de Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Here, you can do all your dairy shopping, including the finest artisanal Poitou cheeses: mothais sur feuille, crottin, pavé cendré, tomme, faisselles and bottled milk. For 3 euros, you can meet the dairy's endearing dairymen, visit the cheese dairy, take part in a tasting session and even take part in milking. Cheeses available for direct sale, or at the Saint-Maixent market (Saturday).
