LES LÉGENDES OUBLIÉES DU VAL DE SÈVRE

A very nice walk with the rhythm of the horses and the local heritage, 18th century dovecotes, dwellings, family cemeteries. Starting from the Roman bridge at the confluence of the Chambon and Ligueure rivers, you will pass through the typical villages of Puy Belin or Chamiers, Paunay, Saivres, where you will see the castles of Isabeau de Verrières (her recumbent statue is in the church) and Herbaudière (privately owned), and Augé and its Renaissance houses.
