ORATOIRE NOTRE-DAME DE LA PAIX
Go there and contact
Oratory with a charming little chapel built of stone and pebbles and covered with Angers slate, to discover in Arronnes.
Situated at the confluence of the Sichon and Vareille rivers, this oratory, built in the 19th century, originally housed the statue of Notre-Dame de la Paix, believed to protect against flooding and now on display in the Saint-Léger church in Arronnes. The oratory includes a small stone and pebble chapel, covered with Angers slate. Explanatory panels tell the story of the valley and the commune, and a mass is celebrated here every year on the third Sunday in July.
