Oratory with a charming little chapel made of stone and pebbles and covered with slates from Angers, to be discovered in Arronnes.

An oratory is a place dedicated to prayer. Located at the confluence of the Sichon and Vareille rivers, the oratory of Notre-Dame de la Paix would have been built during the 19th century. Originally, it contained the statue of Notre-Dame de la Paix, which protected against floods. This statue can now be seen in the Saint-Léger church in Arronnes. The oratory includes a charming little chapel built of stone and pebbles and covered with Angers slate. Explanatory panels tell the history of the valley and the town.
