A unique little train in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, carrying passengers to the Pertuis de Maumusson.
This little train, which has been in service for over 60 years, is an original and pleasant way of getting to the beaches of Gatseau and Maumusson. Lovers of seaside bathing and strollers will be delighted to take their seats to reach the Côte Sauvage and its magnificent landscapes. In operation during the Mimosa Festival and from April onwards, the train offers night-time rides and musical entertainment during the summer season.

Opening time and information on THE LITTLE TRAIN FROM ST. TROJAN
Open from March to October without reservation. Open during the Mimosa Festival in February. Low season: departures at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. High season: 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., departures every 45 minutes. Free for children under 4. Adults: €13 (concessions: €11.50). Children (aged 4 to 12): €10 (concessions: €8.50). Sunset train (€18 adult, €13 child). Train privatization from €500.

Néanmoins le train est bien trop cher pour le prix… nous sommes entassés sans commentaires avec un boucan et la fumée très forte de la locomotive surtout à l’avant…
Les manœuvre de croisement sont bancales avec un personnel qui hurle et des arrêts longs.
Après avoir demandé plusieurs fois pour s’arrêter à un arrêt avant le terminus (pour une Personne a Mobilite Réduite), ils ont tout bonnement oubliés et nous en donner une raison à deux balles sans même s’excuser.
Pour couronner le tout le personnel est désagréable et peu accommodant je ne recommande pas du tout!
Allez en voiture a pied ou à vélo à la plage de gatseau, c’est largement suffisant.
