This bakery and patisserie, located right in the heart of town, is a must for gourmets. The shop window is an irresistible invitation to come closer. You'll find viennoiseries, but above all pastries, including the inevitable puits d'amour, which has been delighting taste buds for over 40 years! This choux pastry, filled with crème pâtissière and topped with a crème brûlée glaze, is a delight. It's a pity, however, that the welcome lacks a smile and that the menu is subject to a high price tag.

Ravie de retrouver Mme Boudon derrière le comptoir, avec son sourire et sa disponibilite et son mari aux gâteaux, notamment pour le puits d'amour. On retrouve enfin ce savoir faire que l'ex propriétaire n'avait pas !

Cette patisserie mythique a changé de propriétaires il y a quelques années. Malheureusement, même si les gateaux sont toujours aussi appétissants visuellement, la finesse et le goût n'ont pas suivi, en grande partie parce que le patissier a la main beaucoup trop lourde sur le sucre. Du coup, quelque soit la recette, c'est le sucre qui domine et ça devient écoeurant, on dirait des gateaux faits par des enfants pour des enfants! Dommage

When I come on holiday has the island of oleron, my first thought is to pick a shaft of love they are excellent... native south west and although not living longer this pastry is not found everywhere and this pastry chef creates perfectly made them you can only get there, remember to childhood us who invaded the tastebuds, thank you Monsieur Boudon it is always happy to recommend to you with my friends so that you can taste the well of love and they are never disappointed... has continued to make us dream the tastebuds
