A blue garden adorned with lavender, rosemary and many others with a stunning color that has earned it an exceptional ranking.

Situated 30 minutes from Talmont-sur-Gironde, these gardens feature colorful lawns and flowerbeds. The 13-hectare park is beautifully manicured and features rare, centuries-old tree species. It is laid out in the French style before taking on an English appearance as it approaches the springs. This haven of peace invites you to stroll around, discovering the château, the dovecote and the unmissable blue fountains. Before you leave, let yourself be tempted by a moment of wine tasting.

A long, long time ago, a fairy of extraordinary beauty lived there. She fell in love with a prince. The young man left her for a few moments to ask her father for her hand in marriage...

A long time later she realized that he was never going to come back, she was heartbroken and began to weep.

It was her tears that fell from her beautiful blue eyes that gave the water the colour it still has today! Science may say otherwise but remember we are in fairyland
