ROYAN CENTRAL MARKET
Royan's Marché Central, a building measuring 50 m in diameter and 15 m high.
Completed in 1956, the Royan market - recognized as one of the most beautiful in France - is distinguished by its hull composed of 13 undulations and a concrete veil no more than 10 cm thick! Classified as a Historic Monument in 2022, it underwent a magnificent restoration last year, with new lighting and a brightly-colored, acidic exterior. What a pleasure to enjoy this new interior, more conducive to shopping and strolling! You'll find plenty of retailers to fill your shopping bag with fresh produce.
