The hotel enjoys an idyllic location opposite Pontaillac beach and next to the casino. Once your suitcases are laid, you will only have the street to cross to give you a relaxing break, play slots or offer you an iodine. But the Grand Hotel is also a magnificent 1930 s with an outdated charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What a pleasure to set up for a moment to contemplate this ocean with lost sight, the conch and its carrots. This delicious view will also have you on your wake in the breakfast room. The hotel will soon be refurbished to offer more comfort to travelers who now have many facilities. The city center of Royan is only 5 minutes away by car.

Pas de chauffage dans notre salle de bains.

Seul point négatif, la baignoire est "vieillotte" (pourquoi ne pas mettre des douches à bac ultra plat ou douche à l'italienne) pour donner une touche de fraicheur dans la salle d eau.
De plus il n'est pas très agréable d'avoir un cout de l'eau chaude puis de l 'eau a peine tiède bref le réglage de l'eau chaude n'est pas agréable pour se laver ou se raser !
A par ces deux points l'hôtel est agréable, extrêmement bien situé avec une vue mer à vous coupez le souffle.
Un personnel très agréables et sérieux et serviable (prêt d'un parapluie si demande en autre).
Très bon choix d'hôtel pour un week end en couple
