A social lessor of the rochelaise agglomeration, the Public Office of Habitat was created in 1913. It manages a rental housing park, individual dwellings, university residences, and also programmes under construction. For tenants wishing to access the property for the first time, they receive aid of EUR 4 000 from the agglomeration, but also a reduction in notary fees, about three times lower than those usually requested.
