CANAL CANOE

The Rompsay Canal connecting Marans to the Poitevin Marsh is a true haven of peace. If some are happy to go cycling or jogging, others prefer to browse this space through the water. Different options are available. For an hour, direction the Chagnolet Bridge for a 4 km return, in two hours direction the Saint-Léonard tunnel from the Rompsay bridge. If you wish to go further, book for half a day or more. You will only come back in the evening after crossing the Saint-Léonard tunnel, a total of almost 20 kilometres!
