The hotel is not just a hotel, it is above all a magnificent shipowner house of the eighteenth century which was formerly, in the 1950 s, a restaurant named as the end Chapon. It was in memory of this ancient place of life that the current owners chose a decoy rather than a decay, while paying tribute to the city's various film festivals. The atmosphere is now given with the entrance corridor where you can find a time radio and red seats from a dark room. Don't look for a lift, but a wooden staircase that allows you to reach the floors. When you arrive here, you will be warmly welcomed by a team that will lead you to one of the 19 rooms of which one is located on the ground floor. Each of them offers a great deal of charm and has all the necessary equipment: Shower, TV and Wifi access, almost half of them have reversible air conditioning. In the evening, enjoy the cuisine of Laurent and settle in the dining room to enjoy a home-cooked cuisine. After a quiet night, you may want to enjoy the full breakfast before a walk in the old town or discover the Old Port, located just a few hundred meters away. Futé, if the hotel does not have parking, you can park on a nearby square.
Nous l’avons signalé à l’accueil en partant, et envoyé par la suite un message sur Booking. La direction n’était apparement pas au courant et n’a pas voulu nous dédommager.
Un commentaire déposé sur Google il y a quelques mois, que nous avons malheureusement trouvé après notre séjour, avertissait pourtant de la présence de punaises de lit dans l’hôtel.
Depuis plusieurs jours, l’une d’entre nous a des piqûres et a retrouvé des déjections de punaises de lit sous son sommeil, malgré un lavage des vêtements à 60 degrés, une congélation des sacs et chaussures…
Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel et regrettons l’absence de geste commercial de la part de la direction.
