Nice bar-restaurant with a great view in La Rochelle.
This typical bistro is the ideal place to take a break in the heart of the city. You'll appreciate the terrace with its breathtaking view of the Hôtel de Ville, and you'll be charmed by the old-fashioned dining room. The menu features brasserie-style recipes with French meats and homemade fries. The cuisine is homemade, and you can feel it. The chef enjoys working with fresh, mostly local produce, which he happily arranges in dishes from another era. The service is dynamic and smiling.

Master restorer. Open all year round. Monday to Saturday from 8am to midnight. Continuous service (crêpes, ice creams). Menus from €19 to €24. Children's menu: €10 (up to age 12). Dishes from €16 to €27, Desserts from €6 to €8. Terrace.
Salle quasi deserte, donc service qui paraît long ... car pas beaucoup de mouvement ! Mais en fait assez rapide ... il faut bien avoir le temps de faire la préparation.
La musique est agréable.
Les plats sont bons et copieux. Les desserts aussi.
Les boissons sont comme on les attend.
Les prix sont peut-être globalement un peu plus élevés que ce qu'on pouuraient attendre.
A l'occasion j'y retournerai.
