LES GRANDS YACHTS
Restaurant with terrace offering a view of the Old Port
Already known to the people of Roche for having run the restaurant La Villette near the market, Marjorie and Didier took over the helm of these Grands Yachts in the spring of 2018, which had long been docked at Le Gabut, at the foot of the Saint-Nicolas tower. Just like the restaurant, whose contemporary whiteness evokes the interior of a luxury boat, the menu invites you on a maritime journey, with a few more earthy detours (will you test Ze Yachts burger?). The service, particularly friendly, is equal to the flavour of the dishes, nicely presented. And if you choose to settle on the large wooden terrace, the direct view of the Old Port will complete your immersion in an Atlantic atmosphere.
Serveuses sympathiques (comme presque toujours à La Rochelle)
Apéro commandé, (2 cocktails) pas assez frais. Vient ensuite l'arrivée des plats, 20 minutes après 2 tables qui étaient arrivés un bon 20 après nous... Presque 30 à 40 minutes d'attente pour au final une mini portion de frite et des moules au bleu sans quasiment aucun goût...
La carafe d'eau était presque tiède, elle aurait pourtant servit à nous rafraîchir par ces 30 degrés dehors...
Je mets un 3* pour la gentillesse des serveuses et serveuse malgré quelque mélanges.
Bref, nous n'y retournerons pas.
Bon rapport qualité prix.
